They are gorgeous women, and I don’t want to take anything away from them, but they all do have a very classical look, with a very thin nose. I’m watching this parade of these faces and then, boom, it was my face, and I was taken aback. I was like, ‘Oh, my nose is so big!’ I have never in my life thought I had a big nose, but, well, there it was. The first time I was on TV, on ‘Flight of the Conchords,’ someone put up a YouTube clip and said, ‘You’re too ugly to be on TV.’ And I was like, ‘That is exactly why it’s a good thing that I’m on TV.’”

Okay so I don’t really know what TGWTG or Ask that guy are, but this just filled me with rainbows. This is an example of a confession done RIGHT.
So firstly, they’re not covering his eyes. That’s really creepy and it doesn’t really make sense because if they like the thing so much, why are they covering part of its face?
Secondly, see how NONE OF THESE INSULT ANYONE? NOTHING that this person has said was offensive, insulting, or a backhanded compliment. Basically all they’re saying is that they love all of TGWTG but they only watch one guy’s videos, and that makes total sense.
Thirdly, They go on to compliment something that he said, and say “I don’t understand all the hate”. Note, they didn’t say “I hate anyone who doesn’t like it” or “if you hate it you’re stupid”, but “I don’t understand”.
Fourthly, they just sort of offhandedly compliment them by saying Ask That Guy needs to happen more often. I don’t know why but that seems really sweet to me? Yeah.
The person who made this had no spelling errors, no insults, no creepiness, and a great picture of the subject. Sorry if it seems weird that I’d say anything but a lot of people I follow a while ago were so entirely outraged with a few things that people were saying on blogs like these that they actually got them shut down. Those blogs were REALLY terrible, but wow. This like restored my faith in fandoms. I want to hug whomever posted this because this is like the nicest one of these I’ve ever seen in my life.
Submitted this to TGWTGsecrets a while back mostly for shits ‘n’ gigs, but also because…hey, why not? I freakin’ love the videos this guy makes.
